Lip Fillers

We use the safest Hyaluronic Acid-based fillers to subtly enhance the natural shape of your lips via injections. We don't create the overdone "duck lips". We simply enhance the contours of your lips to create an edge or increase volume. We use the thinnest type of filler possible to keep the natural movement of the lips.

Typically, this procedure will take 30 to 45 minutes and then you can continue your daily

activities excluding exercise.

Results can be instant but some swelling and bruising may occur within the 48 hour period because of the hyaluronic acid absorbing extra water. This is normal. After a few days you will see your results last typically for 6 to 12 months.

The longevity of any filler treatment depends on the type of filler used, the placement of the filler, and the age of the patient. Fillers typically last 6 to 12 months before your body naturally metabolizes the product.

The great thing about the products we use for lip fillers is that they can easily be reduced or erased by an injection of hyaluronidase, which will break down the filler and can restore your lips to their original state.

No, your lips will feel natural to yourself and to anyone when kissing. Best of all, you will not lose any sensation.

We strive to make our patients as comfortable as possible; patients will first be numbed with a topical medical grade numbing agent and then when injected with the fillers the formulation includes lidocaine- a local anesthetic. Those allergic to lidocaine will be given another numbing option to reduce any pain.

Patients must avoid alcohol, aspirin, plavix or blood thinners prior to the procedure. Please discuss this with your doctor if there are any concerns. It would also be best if patients have a cleansed face, free of makeup.

If swelling occurs, we recommend you use an ice pack. We also advise to not book any important events 3 to 6 days post procedure and to avoid alcohol and certain medications.

The effects of fillers during pregnancy or nursing have not been studied and so we advise patients in these conditions to avoid this treatment.
